Get Those Resumes Ready

IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, distraught at the idea of never again working side-by-side with Tax Masters CEO Patrick Cox to settle tax liabilities for pennies on the dollar, announced today that he plans to step down after his five-year term expires in November.

With such a prestigious — and presumably, high-paying opportunity coming available, might I recommend…myself? I possess a copy of the Master Tax Guide, the opposable thumbs necessary to operate a standard computer keyboard, and awful interpersonal skills, all of which would appear to make me the natural choice to be the next leader of the Internal Revenue Service.
